The product
What does SEO Autopilot do?
It audits your website, shows which problems matter most, compares what you cover with competitors you name, and puts everything worth doing in one ranked list. It prepares the work it safely can, leaves every decision with you, and then measures what happened in search afterwards.
What does the free homepage check include?
It reads one page, your homepage, and scores it against a set of basic checks: title and description, headings, indexing, mobile setup, links and structured data. You see the score, the findings most worth fixing first and what passed. It needs no account, and the result is kept for 14 days and then deleted.
What does the homepage check not cover?
Everything beyond that one page. It does not crawl the rest of your website, look at your Google data, compare you with competitors or track anything over time. Those need a free account, where an audit covers the whole website up to your plan's page limit.
What is the difference between Free, Starter and Pro?
All three include the full audit, fix guidance, Google data and the Action Center. Free ($0) covers 1 website, audits of up to 50 pages and 10 tracked keywords per website. Starter ($9 a month) covers 2 websites, audits of up to 200 pages and 50 tracked keywords per website, with 3 competitors per website and a monthly report. Pro ($19 a month) covers 5 websites, audits of up to 500 pages and 200 tracked keywords per website, with 5 competitors per website and weekly or monthly reports. The pricing page has the full comparison.
Which website platforms are supported?
Audits, Google data, competitor comparison, the Action Center and reports work with any public website, whatever it is built on. Applying a fix for you is different: it needs a connection to your website. A WordPress site can be connected and checked today, but changing titles and descriptions through that connection needs a companion plugin that is not released yet. Until it is, each fix comes with instructions for you to carry out.
Control and results
Will it change my website automatically?
Not unless you choose that, and today not on a live website at all. Every proposed change waits for your approval by default, and you can edit the wording first. The largest plan lets the lowest-risk, reversible fixes apply on their own to a connected website, but connections that can apply changes are still being built. Redirects, indexing rules and canonical tags pointing elsewhere are never automated.
Can you guarantee rankings?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls how a search engine orders its results. We show what is holding a page back, help you act on it, and then show what happened to that page next to how the whole website moved.
Are the keyword positions exact rankings?
They are the average positions Google reports in Search Console for searches where your website appeared. That is real data from Google, but it is not an independent rank check from a particular place, and it is labelled that way throughout.
Competitors and content
How does competitor analysis work?
You name the websites you compete with. We read a small number of their public pages, the ones anyone can open, and compare what they cover with your own audit: kinds of page, subjects, structured data and depth. You get a short list of gaps in plain words. We do not have search-results data, so we never say why a competitor ranks or claim to know who outranks you. It is part of the paid plans.
How does the page optimizer work?
Choose one of your pages and the search you want it found for. Fixed rules compare the page with your audit, the searches Google already shows it for and similar competitor pages, and return specific recommendations, each with the reason and the evidence behind it. That works on every plan and uses no AI.
How does AI help?
Most of the product is fixed rules applied to your own data, which is why every finding can show its evidence. Features that use an AI model to write or summarize are built but not switched on yet, so nothing on this website describes them as available.
Google and your data
What Google access is required?
None to run audits. To see search performance you connect Google Search Console, and optionally Google Analytics 4, by signing in with Google and choosing the property.
Is Google access read-only?
Yes. We request only the permissions needed to read reports. We cannot change anything in your Google account, and you can disconnect at any time from the app or from your Google account settings.
How is my data handled?
Each account's websites, audits and Google data are kept separate from every other account's. Connection credentials are stored encrypted. You can archive a website and keep its history, or delete it permanently, and deleting your account removes your websites, connections and data. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
