Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SEO Autopilot ("we", "us") covering your use of SEO Autopilot (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity in your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without permission.

2. Websites you add

You may only add websites that you own or are authorized to manage. By adding a website you confirm that you have the right to let us crawl it, read the Google data you connect for it, and prepare changes and content for it. You remain responsible for your website and for anything you publish on it or elsewhere.

3. Competitor analysis

You may name other websites as competitors. We read only pages of those websites that are publicly available, at a considerate pace, and report what they cover. That analysis describes public pages. It is not a statement about how any website ranks or why, and it must not be used to copy another website's content.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to crawl, probe or interfere with websites you are not authorized to manage, beyond the public competitor analysis described above.
• Do not attempt to access another customer's data, or to bypass plan limits or security controls.
• Do not use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, deceptive or infringing content.
• Do not use the Service, or anything it writes, for spam: posting in bulk, posting the same text in many places, creating accounts to post, hiding who you are, or ignoring another website's rules.

5. Recommendations are not guarantees

The Service provides analysis and recommendations based on automated checks and on data from third parties such as Google. Scores and priorities are our own estimates. Search results depend on many factors outside our control, and we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic or revenue outcome. Measurements show what happened after a change, not that the change caused it.

6. AI-generated suggestions

Some suggestions, drafts and answers may be written with the help of an AI model. They can be wrong or incomplete. They are offered for you to review, and you are responsible for checking anything before you use or publish it.

7. Changes to your website

The Service prepares changes for you to review. Applying a change for you requires a connection to your website that supports it, and such connections are not available for every platform. Where one is, a change is applied only after you approve it, unless you have chosen to let a category of low-risk, reversible changes apply without asking each time. You should review applied changes; each can be rolled back from the app. Changes to redirects, indexing rules and canonical tags pointing elsewhere are never applied automatically.

8. Content for other websites

The Service may prepare a contribution intended for another website, such as an answer in a community or a guest article, that mentions and links to your page. Contributions are checked against quality rules before they are offered to you, and you post them yourself under your own account. Publishing on your behalf would only ever take place through a route that website officially provides.

Other websites have their own rules and moderators. They may edit, decline or remove a contribution, and once something has been published we may not be able to have it changed or taken down. A link from another website is not guaranteed, and neither is its effect.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Google for search and analytics data, a payment provider, and where enabled an AI provider. Their services are subject to their own terms and availability, and a feature that depends on one may be limited or unavailable when it is.

10. Plans, billing and cancellation

The free plan is provided at no charge within the limits shown in the app. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your paid features remain available until the end of the period already paid for. If you move to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted: what is over the new limits is paused. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

11. Your content and data

You keep all rights to the content and data you provide. You give us permission to use it only as needed to operate the Service for you. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Our service

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you are paying for.

13. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the Service or other customers at risk; where practical we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

14. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are material we will notify account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
